How Frontline Playoff Brackets Work
1. Double Elimination Format
Divisions 1 and 2 operate on double elimination. A team that loses in the Winners Bracket drops into the Elimination Bracket. A second loss results in complete tournament elimination.
2. Best of 5 Series Rotation
Standard CDL match rotation: Map 1 Hardpoint, Map 2 Search & Destroy, Map 3 Control, Map 4 Hardpoint, and Map 5 Search & Destroy. Division 3 plays a Best of 3 format.
3. Grand Finals Advantage
The team advancing from the Winners Bracket enters Grand Finals with 1-series advantage. The team advancing from the Elimination Bracket must win two consecutive Best of 5 series to win the title.
